Aluminium Windows
Respray
Cadent Gas

September has seen us recoat all existing windows, doors and shutters to this Cadent Gas base in Chesterton. Using RAL7016 Anthracite Grey, in an eggshell finish, we have completely transformed the aesthetic of this building using a contemporary shade of grey.

As you can see from our portfolio, the existing powder coating on these aluminium frames had failed, becoming weathered and chalky. As well as this, some of the shutters and fire doors on-site were suffering from corrosion, and needed treating and restoring before spray application.

When respraying aluminium surfaces, we ensure that the substrate is fully prepared, filled, sprayed and siliconed, leaving an immaculate and resilient finish to every resprayed unit. In order to treat and recoat the corroded areas correctly, a step-by-step process is required to be carried out to ensure the ultimate high quality finish. To begin, we strip back the original coating removing all corrosion. Following this, all existing surfaces are abraded and areas of corrosion are treated with a zinc primer, which is then sealed with a high quality top-coat product. This process will prevent future corrosion issues arising as the new coating acts as a barrier, stopping any water from penetrating the surface.

Over time, aluminium frames on your commercial (or residential) property can no longer become aesthetically pleasing whether it be wear and tear, poor powder coating or even a dated colour scheme. Replacement becomes ones immediate thought, however this is an extremely costly and timely resolution.

The most cost effective solution to revitalise your existing frames is with one of our respray packages. Head over to ourContact? page to get in touch with the Technique Team today to request a free site survey and follow up quotation.
