The spray machines we use are HVLP, this stands for high volume low pressure, meaning with us, there’s no risk of overspray in any other rooms, if you have a respray completed internally, or on any surfaces/walls, if you’re spraying your windows outside.

The Process Of Respraying Your UPVC
Windows & doors in Cheshire
So, what is the process of our onsite UPVC resprays in Cheshire? From the moment we step foot onto your property, your home is treated just like we would our own. We begin by protecting all surrounding areas of the UPVC that is to be coated, whether that’s internally or externally, this is to ensure no overspray or dust will make its way to places it shouldn’t.
Once the protection is in place, we clean down all of your existing frames making sure they’re free of dirt, damp and grime. If your frames are being sprayed externally, our next step is to remove all existing silicone around your windows and doors. This is ESSENTIAL to avoid flaking paint in the future. Poor sprayers will spray over existing silicone to save time, if your spraying firm doesn’t dig out silicone, run!
Sanding is our next step as this gives the paint a good surface to grip to. Once these two processes are complete, it’s time to mask. Masking is the most time-consuming part of spraying, masking intricately ensures there are no messy lines, so this stage needs to be absolutely perfect.
Now your preparatory work is complete, it’s time to apply your coating. First, we go in and give your existing frames a full coat of primer; this gives a sound base for the paint. Using a HVLP spray machine, your colour of choice is applied, this is usually around two to three coats, or until the depth of your colour is achieved. In between each coat, a de-nibbing process is completed, ensuring each a smooth, flawless finish when it comes to your final colour coat. The spray work itself is now complete.
We’ll wait until your frames are touch dry, then our final step in this process is to replace the silicone we removed before we sprayed the windows. All existing silicone will be disposed of and replaced with new silicone which will match the colour of your ‘new’ frames.
Once the physical spraying of your windows and doors are complete, we will show you the final product, ensuring you’re one hundred percent happy before de-masking takes place. Once this is confirmed, we de-mask all sprayed frames and protected areas, as well as wiping down all work surfaces – leaving your home just the way we found it!

“I recently worked with Technique On-Site Coatings on one of my interior design projects spraying internal UPVC. From start to finish they have been a pleasure to work with. Lauren has been extremely helpful throughout and the guys on the day were fantastic. I was so impressed with their work ethic and attention to detail and I will most definitely be using them again, as well as recommending them to others.”
“I had my external UPVC windows and doors resprayed. What a superb job, you would never know they were white before. I had doubts about spraying and thought you may be able to tell due to the rendering on my walls, but you could not tell at all. The transformation is totally amazing and I would never use anybody else.”
